Orienteering - Competitor

The Event Organiser will arrange for the Map and Course files to be saved to a location from which competitors will be able to download these files into the MyOMaps app.

To ensure the results file that is generated has your correct details, from the main menu, select "Settings > User Details >  and complete:
- Surname, First Name, Gender, Email Address, Club and State fields.

The Event Organiser will have printed maps for each competitor.

When you are about to start, from the Home Screen in MyOMaps, select the map, the course, and scatter/course mode.

Press Start as you approach the start press Start and the timer will start when you go to the Start Triangle and stop when you get to the Finish.

When you save your results, your track and splits file is saved in OE Results file format. It is saved locally on the Android and (if there is an internet connection) uploaded and merged with other results on the MyOMaps Server.

Results can be downloaded from: http://www.fne.com.au/aouploads/CombinedResults/

If Organiser has setup a matching RouteGadget Event on the RouteGadget site associated with MyOMaps, the results and GPS track are automatically displayed in RouteGadget.
